a blog about my life as a former nursing student, now a Registered Nurse!
"To do what nobody else will do, in a way that nobody else can do, in spite of all we go through; that is to be a nurse."
it's jimmy from the TM forum (fiance just recently diagnosed with TM, Washington DC area). I clicked on the blog link below your name and..
congratulations on the recent graduation from nursing school!
i checked out the first entry and it was cool to read your goal and to see that you made it.
thank you for choosing such a generous profession. i was never much of a person in the hospital and so was ignorant of the fact that hospitals seem to be a little short-sided with nurses and doctors. or at least from my current experience it seems like there are a ton of patients and the time alloted to each is not very much.
my fiance and i owe a lot to the staff at the washington hospital center, especially the nurses. i wish you much luck with your career!
I am a Registered Nurse, no longer able to work due to increasing health problems. I have transverse myelitis, dysautonomia, gastroparesis, sleep apnea, GERD, chronic pain, migraines.
